How we think

AI-native, all the way down.

“AI-native” is easy to say. For us it means the tools are part of the thinking itself, not a step at the end. We think with them, test with them and build with them, and we keep a person in charge of every decision.

The minds behind it

Tim and Tom are pattern-matchers. Their minds are wired to see the shape under the surface: the same idea at work in a film script and a trading desk, in a podcast and a power grid. That is not a trick we can teach. It is how we have always thought, and the new tools turned it into leverage.

AI tools reward exactly that kind of mind. They can hold a whole field at once, so the person who knows which two fields to put side by side gets further than anyone else. That is where we work.

Ask if there is a better way

The most useful question in any meeting. We ask it about other people’s systems and, more often, about our own. Most of what we have built started as an answer to it.

Challenge the assumptions

Every stuck problem rests on something nobody checked. We list what everyone takes for granted, and test the ones that matter. Sometimes the assumption holds. When it does not, the problem usually opens up.

Actually think

It sounds obvious. It is rare. Fast tools make it tempting to produce before understanding. We use the speed to buy time for thought, not to skip it.

See the bigger picture

A detail fixed in the wrong place makes the whole worse. We step back until we can see how the parts depend on each other, then decide where to act.

Tie the room together

We laugh about the line from The Big Lebowski, and we mean it. In every project there is one idea that makes the rest make sense. Finding it is most of the job.

Find the adjacent leverage

Science, technology, engineering and maths are full of answers to problems in other fields. A method from signal processing helps a broadcast; an idea from markets helps a content schedule. We go looking next door.
